Your First Visit
What to Expect
What happens on my first appointment?
Your appointment begins with a thorough Consultation — Valeria will discuss your goals, skin type and desired outcome. A numbing cream (anaesthetic) is then applied and left for approximately 30 minutes. Valeria will then carefully map and design the treatment area, before you choose your pigment colour together. The cosmetic tattoo procedure then begins — Valeria implants pharmaceutical pigments into the dermal layer of the skin using a sterile needle, creating your chosen effect with precision and care.
How long does an appointment take?
Eyebrow appointments take approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. Other treatment times vary — please see the prices page or call Valeria on 0450 846 955 for details on your specific treatment.
Does it hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied approximately 30 minutes before the procedure begins — this significantly reduces discomfort during the treatment. Most clients report the procedure as very comfortable.
Who is cosmetic tattooing suitable for?
Cosmetic tattooing is suitable for a wide range of people — those with sparse, patchy or over-plucked brows; people who love sport or swimming; those with busy schedules or early starts; people experiencing hair loss due to Alopecia or Chemotherapy; those with visual or physical impairments; naturally uneven or pale lips; makeup allergies; facial asymmetry or scarring; or simply anyone who wants to look their best 24/7.
Aftercare & Longevity
Maintaining Your Results
How long do results last?
Cosmetic tattoo pigments are semi-permanent — they fade gradually over time. Results typically last for years, but a colour maintenance treatment is recommended every 6 to 18 months to keep your results looking fresh and defined.
When do I need a colour maintenance?
Valeria recommends a colour maintenance treatment every 6 to 18 months. At the very least, she suggests that her clients have a refresh treatment every year. The exact timing will depend on your skin type, lifestyle and how your skin has retained the pigment.
Is a touch-up included?
A touch-up within 3 months of your original treatment is available at a separate price — please see the prices page for current touch-up pricing. Valeria will advise you on whether a touch-up is recommended at your follow-up.
